Dr. John Matthias, a doctor for thirty-five years vouched for medical ailments being cured by Christian prayer. Now a Shropshire Church has been gagged from saying so. The doctor writes: “I am a medical doctor of over 35 years. I have read all the stories here and can vouch that they are true.” This was followed by testimonials claiming that conditions such as high blood pressure, sciatica, ME, drug addition had been cured. Phil Whittle from the Church says he is disappointed in the ruling by the ASA Advertising Standards Authority
